| Published fees | According to what Maya’s cash-in page states, a combined PHP 8,000 monthly cash-in via selected partners carries no fee, and 2 per cent applies afterward. Sourced from Maya’s own site yet skipped during verification’s re-fetch, this figure holds less authority than the directly-read GCash schedule shown above. |
Maya states these as MONTHLY wallet limits. The way GCash phrases its ceiling ties it to a balance held at any given time. A side-by-side reading of these two numbers means little, since each one measures something else, no matter how often that’s done.
These figures are point-in-time, recorded as of 2026-09. Payment providers change limits and fees at will, without any notice, which makes the provider’s page the only source that stays current.
Verification tiers
- Basic — Monthly wallet activity tops out at PHP 50,000, matched by a PHP 50,000 ceiling on daily purchases. You can’t move money via InstaPay or send to other Maya users while at this tier.
- Upgraded — Expect to provide a verified address, a valid ID, and a video selfie for this. Figures at this tier: a PHP 100,000 wallet limit each month, PHP 100,000 in daily purchases, PHP 20,000 per transaction and PHP 100,000 daily to a Maya user, and PHP 50,000 daily and PHP 100,000 monthly for InstaPay outbound
- Super Users — PHP 500,000 governs the monthly wallet total as well as the daily limits set on purchases and sends. There’s no published Maya source explaining what gets an account onto this tier.
- Ultimate Users — Both the daily purchase limit and the daily send limit reach PHP 5,000,000, matching the PHP 5,000,000 monthly wallet cap. There’s no published Maya source explaining what gets an account onto this tier.

How fast money actually moves
Maya settles wallet-to-wallet and InstaPay both land instantly, with PESONet the exception that waits until the same banking day. It’s a rail-side fact, not a casino one: Maya only handles a withdrawal once an operator’s own review has cleared it, and that internal review is usually what causes the wait.
A per-transaction cap of PHP 50,000 a day is the InstaPay outbound limit and PHP 20,000 a transaction is the Maya-to-Maya limit, both set at the Upgraded tier applies, which is why a larger transfer sometimes has to be split.
What Maya says about gambling transactions
Nothing about gambling appears when Maya’s e-wallet terms and conditions are read directly; the only relevant provisions ban illegal activity and anti-money-laundering breaches broadly. Suspension or cancellation of the card follows, per its separate CREDIT CARD terms, from anything covered by the restricted-transaction wording ‘illegal gambling or unauthorized game of chance’. Maya fell within the scope of BSP Memorandum M-2025-029 as of August 2025, and stripped its in-app gambling and gaming links because of it. It matters to keep the two products apart, because whatever a credit card agreement restricts leaves the wallet untouched.
